Coy has been out of the area since graduation.His mother still lives here but he has not attended any reunions due to the fact he still plays the drums and had gigs the nights of reunion. Tuesday July 17 members of the class of 69 will meet for dinner. Darla Choate who lives in Missouri will be home for a few days so we are planning to meet after 4:00 pm. Place has not decided.If you would like to join us let me know by email or phone.

Five of our classmates met at Cheddars on July 17 and we had a great time. Talking about classmates, family and what is going on around us, We visited Dorothy Gregory and she was in good spirits. We vowed to meet every summer when Darla comes in town and any body else. If you did not attend you missed a good time.

Have heard from a lot of classmates and they are wanting us to have a get together soon. So anybody who has any suggestion please let me know.We need a place and time.

Several 69 Classmates attended Benefit for Dorothy Gregory. The BBQ was great and so was the attendance. The money raised will be used for medicene, nursing staff,and anything Dorothy needs. She is living with her sister Jackie Gregory Nini Frusha.

Dorothy is getting weaker by the day.If you get a chance go by and see her. She is at her sister's house(Jackie Frusha)

Dorothy passed on Friday evening. Funeral services have not been finalized as of Saturday morning.

Visitation is to start at noon on Monday at Broussard's on Major. Memorial service is 2:00 at Broussard's.

In October we will have a mini reunion. Nora Forgas who lives in Switzerland will be in town for a few days and she would like for us to get together. So whenever I know the exact day I will let all know.

Okay to set the record straight, the class of 1968 was the greatest. Come on, '68 greenie grads get on the ball & speak up for our days. I'd like to hear from some greenies out there who graduated in 1968. I am Cathy Wilson Martin. I will be checking to see if any other oldies are around.

Darla Choate called me last night and she will be in town next weekend and was wondering if we can all meet for supper on Saturday at Cheddars around 6:30.Told her I would send emails out to ones that I have emails for. Well we had a good time at Johnny Carino's on Sat. (11/10)We even had a SP Mom who graduated from SP and so did her girls. When we were in school she was always there to help us out. Especially with ones that their Moms worked. Do you know who she is? We promised to get together soon since we don't have reunion until 2009

Talked with Robert Ellis today . His Mom is in bad health and he will be coming in town soon. He told me that when he gets here he will let me know so that we may get together. He lives in California.

Lynde Moore and Robert Ellis lost their Moms. Lynde's Mom passed away today (11/24) and Robert's Mom (11/22)

This past weekend some members of the class of 69 met at the beach like we use to do many years ago. Rhonda Marshall, Peggy Miguez, Miriam Cade, Nancy Gonzales, Mike Miguez (63), Jackie Gregory(71).We saw Denise Wade(69) she was babysitting her grandchildren. We had Shrimp Gumbo with Potatoe Salad and Lemon Meringue Pie. We had a good time visiting and eating.We are all excited about Get together in Sept. 6.All Greenies are invited.

Several classmates attended memorial sevice for Sherry Bickham on Friday(7/25). Her family was glad to see that she was remembered by her classmates.

Sept. 6 is getting close.Expecting a lot attend. Have heard from classmates and they are excited about Get Together. Several classmates that have not been to reunion are coming in for Get Together. Lumberton Inn will(409-751-5557) have rooms for the Get Together. See you Sept. 6.

I saw some younger(70 and 71) Geenies last night at 9th Grade(WestBrook)football game last night and they ask me if we were getting the Boogie Kings for our reunion and I told them yes.And they asked if they could come.Told them when we have meeting in January to discuss our reunion plans we would talk about that and I would make sure to let all know the out come.They understand they would have to pay cover charge to come .

I have about 40 names from our class that I don't have good addresses. If you will help find these classmates let me know.

Even got address from classmates that did not graduate with us but are excited about reunion.

This meeting we stuffed letters into envelopes, talked about Friday Night, looked at reunion pictures to name classmates we did not remember.Received more cover charges from our class but others, too.
