Death of a Classmate: Class of 1966 - 03/24/05 03:39 AM
It is with deepest regret, and a profound sense of our own mortality, that I am writing to inform all of you of the death of a member of the Class of 1966: KAREN CATHEY.
Karen died on February 22, at age 56. A memorial service was held for Karen on February 25 at Stonebridge Church in The Woodlands, TX. Her obituary appeared in the Beaumont Enterprise on March 9, 2005.
Karen was a Cheerleader at SPHS, and had many friends among her classmates. All who knew her will remember her bubbly personality and zest for life. Karen will be deeply missed by all her classmates.
