I graduated in 1975 from South Park. I live in Thibdaux, LA, 50 miles from New Orleans. We had some repercussions of Katrina's wrath, downed trees, no electricity, telephone, or internet for several days, cell phones still down. Thank you to my wonderful native state of Texas for all the help with the New Orleans evacuees. It is incomprehensible what has happened, and what will become of the area. Thanks for your prayers. Needless to say, I did not make the 30 year reunion. I am looking forward to seeing the pics once they are posted. While browsing through the site, I came across the "sweethearts" section. I married Tommy Choate (class of 76) and my sister, Gillian Zagone married Jesse Ford-both class of 1970.
Christine,
Glad to hear from you. Please email me
MiriamDnls@aol.com so I can get to you and Tommy letter about alumni association and membership form. Miriam (69)
Looks like the Gulf Coast is going to get Hurricane Rita by the weekend. Please everybody pray for us all.
Well on Friday morning we left Beaumont. Was going to Garland to visit Nick's son. But it took us 4 hours to get to Lufkin so we stopped there and went to Diboll south of Lufkin and are staying with my ex mother in law. was told this am that we don't know when we can get back to Beaumont. So we are here for how ever long.
