CLASS OF 69 REUNION

The class of 69 will hold their 40th reunion June 5 and 6. Friday night we will meet at Munro's Community Room on MLK Parkway and Broadway from 7:00 to 11. This will be for just class members and their spouse or guest.We will have Links,Boudain,Cold Drinks.On Saturday night at The Holiday Inn on Walden Road. ALL GREENIES ARE INVITED TO SATURDAY NIGHT WITH G.G.Shin and Jerry "Count Jackson" LaCroix(We knew them as the Boogie Kings) and The Blues Crewe. Some GREENIES will play with them Gerry Mouton(70),Coy Fuller (69) and Bubba Busceme(70).Bubba was injured and may not be able to play but he will be there. Cover Charge will be Single $30.00, Couples $60.00 paid by April 14. After April 14, Single $40.00 and Couples $80.00. Checks need to be made out to SP Class of 69 and be turned into either Miriam or Robert Cole. Hotel Rooms(Holiday Inn on Walden Road) are $99.00 per night (Reg.$139.00). Have heard from 69 Greenies also 67,70 and 71, too. Can't wait to hear G.G.Shin and Jerry( Count Jackson) LaCroix. Received several emails and phones calls asking about reunion. It is going to be great.

Emails and reservations are coming in everyday. Greenies from classes even in the late 70's are asking if they can attend I told them YES.Talked to Mr.Sharp he is going to get me addresses from teachers that are still around.If you haven't sent you cover charge do soon. Even thought reunion is not until June the earlier you send your reservation the better.

As of today 5/7/2009 we have 167(reservations and phone calls that I have received) coming to Saturday Night Dance.The ballroom capacity is 200.If you are going to pay at the door please let me now so I can put your name down and count you in.Everybody that I have talked with is excited it will be a night to remember. Don't forget Pep Rally on June 6 at Noon at the fron steps at SP

Well only one week till reunion. 14 Seats left and more classmates are coming.So many of us are getting so excited we can hardly wait.To classmates that can not attend we are going to miss you but you will be in our thoughts.This reunion will be the talk for many years.

Seats are getting fewer everyday. Remember that after Wednesday (6/3)you will be only able to get a seat at the door (if there are only some left).

This reunion will be talked about for years.

Let me tell you that if you did not attend you missed a big time.We had a ball and so many classmates that we had not seen since graduation came and we got to chat and talk about the days at South Park.We will all be at Pep Rally and dance Saturday Night.

Look at you up past your bedtime. Wish I could have been there to see Dorothy Gregory's friends and all of my running buddies. Sounds like y'all had a good time. Planning on coming tomorrow night. Will try to make it to the pep rally, got a lot going on.
