Greenie Get Together hosted by Class of 69

September 6 the class of 69 will host a Get Together at Carolyn Dupree Gaston's home 286 Trahan Road in Lumberton. We will start gathering around 11 and if anyone would like to take Canoe/Kayak ride on Village Creek please bring life jackets, snacks , drinks and towels. Canoes/Kayaks will be provided by David Martin.There will be board games for those you don't make creek rides. We will grill meat on Grill around noon .Bring meat for grill, Dishes to go with meat, drinks, dessets etc. Also bring lawn chairs, blankets, etc. Please RSVP to either Carolyn(cgaston77@yahoo.com, 755-2377) or Miriam (MiriamDnls@aol.com, 899-1879). Directions are Head North on Hwy. 69, 96, 287. Take Hwy. 96 straight though Lumberton.Turn Right at Walgreens on to East Chance. Go to Village Creek Parkway, which is Old Silsbee Highway.Take a right. Then go to the first street and turn left(Be careful because there is a driveway that actually crosses the RR track before you get to Trahan Road)One mile pass the RR track is Carolyn's house. All GREENIES are welcomed.Will have T-Shirts you can order. Hope to see you there.

Have received emails stating several GREENIES have made reservations at Lumberton Inn for Get Together. RSVP's are coming in every day.

I am hearing from GREENIES everyday about Get Together. Everyone is excited to see GREENIES from the different Classes.If you are going to attend please let Carolyn or myself know.That way we can make sure we have enough places for everyone.The Canoe/Kayak ride should be fun. Bring your families ,too.

We are keeping our eyes on Gustav. The news right now is that it will miss Beaumont area.Unless we get a tremendous amount of rain Get Together will still take place.As of 8/29/08 the path shown will take storm thru La. to East Texas .
