Petition Drive

We are planning Petition Drive for March 10 . We are waiting on confirmation from the stores. The hours will be from 9:00AM to 3:00PM. Remember GREENIE FIGHT NEVER DIES.

Petition drive will be held on March 10 at St. Paul's Methodist Church Fellowship parking lot on Woodrow and Travis Brothers Hardware on Washington Blvd. Hours are 9:00Am to 3:00PM. If you would like to help please either email MiriamDnls@aol.com or call me 409-899-1879.

Places for Petition Drive are set. We are ready to get the petitions signed. Hours are From 9;00 AM to 3:00 PM. Be sure and tell everybody.

BISD has been talking about tearing down SP. Right now that is off the table but they could put it back on. The Bond elevtion is not until November so we lots of time to make sure they keep it off the table.

Petition drive went real well Saturday, especially at the Travis Bros location. Residents are more than willing to sign and voiced much concern that the school might be "eliminated." You can see a few snapshot here

We need to have more drives. If you can volunteer for a couple of hours or so, whenever, please let Miriam know and we will try to work around whatever you can do. Getting signatures of the residents of the community will be of great benefit.

We are going to have another Petition Drive in April plus a meeting for "Save South Park High School". As soon as I can get confirmed dates I will inform everyone. If you have email address please forward them to me. Thanks for all the help on Petition Drive. We are making a Diffence.

Petitions are really coming in. Even have signed petitions from the classes of 1935 to 1986. Concerned citizens are really signing petitions too. As of today (4/25/2007) there are over 1250 signed petitions. Be sure you sign a petition if you haven't already signed one.
