Harley Clegg - 11/13/06 04:20 PM

I wanted to let all Greenies know that a person who was a part of our South Park heritage has passed from this life. Harley Clegg, Jr. 88, died Sunday morning, 11-12-06. Mr. Clegg lived on Giles Street, 450, to be exact. He taught metal shop at SPHS for a number of years after retiring from industry. Harley and Gladys had three children, Tommy, class of 1977, and Steven and Cindy, who both attended SPHS also. Mr. Clegg was a World War 2 veteran and was a respected scoutmaster of Troop 205 for 20 years. Mr. Clegg was truly a great person and he will be greatly missed.

That is terrible news, I had the great fortune to live next door to Harley and also was in troop 205. He was a great man and will truly be missed.
