Found at last night that Todd Christopher is ill. Please keep him in your prayers.

Heard that Becky Guess class of 69 is having circulation problems with one of her hands. Todd is from class of 69, too.

Judy Jones class of 69 has had surgery . Keep her in your prayers.

Heard that Todd is taking treatments are doing real good.

Have news about Becky Guess class of 69. Am told she has had surgery and she is doing real good.

Got a message about Todd Christopher today. Todd's doctors are very encouraged by his progress and chemical levels. He will do his treatments in Beaumont going to Houston once a month.They will start radiation to help speed up the process. His spirits are high. So don't stop praying for him and his families.

Update on Todd Christopher (69). His protien has been cut in half and the chemo is working. He is to have minor surgery on his back(11/14). A few cracks in his back will be super glued to help with the pain. Will start another round of chemo and will have radiation each day. He has Multiple Myeloma.Keep him your prayers.

I just talked with Nick Lampsom's(61) sister Mary Jo(51) and she told me Nick had bypass surgery on Sunday and today he is sitting up trying to get votes for his re-election. He is in Houston.Will try to get address so that you can send him a card.

Talked with Todd Christopher's mother today and she told that Todd is in M D ANDERSON for some back surgery.He will be there for several months. I will send a card from his classmates and from all GREENIES.

Received email from Jackie Gregory her sister Dorothy has stomach problems and there is no cure for it. Dorothy class of 69 and Jackie class of 71. Please keep these families in your prayers.

Dorothy is now at U.T.M.B in Galveston.

This is Jackie, Dorothy Gregory's sister. I just returned from UTMB in Galveston. They were suppose to do a biopsy today, but decided to hold off until tomorrow (of course, this was decided at 2:00 this afternoon). In the meantime, several groups of doctors came in. Remember UTMB is a learning institution. 2 doctors (one from Bmt., one from UTMB) said cholangiocarcinoma. Another doctor came in yesterday and felt it was just her gallbladder. One doctor came in today and said an abscess. One more, said he felt it was her colon, and said "now you know we are all confused." So, they are going to do the colonscopy tomorrow and if he feels a biopsy is needed, then they can do that then. However: a colonscopy cannot tell you anything about the bile duct system (gallbladder, etc.), so that is another issue. But, she looks good, is feeling somewhat better as long as they give her the pain medication and can get some sleep she's a happy camper. She doesn't eat, but they started her on Ensure, three times a day to keep her weight from going down.

Dorothy still hasn't gotten results from biopsies.

I have just talked to Todd Christopher and he told me that the stem cell surgery was a success.

Dorothy Gregory class of 69 will be going to Harbor Hospice today. Will have room number later on.

Dorothy Gregory Winberry is at Harbor Hospice on Major Drive in Beaumont. Her room number is 25. She would like visits but make them short.

On August 25 there will be a benefit for Dorothy Gregory Winberry class of 69. It will be held at Squeeze's on Voth Road. Dorothy Gregory class of 69 got to go home from Hospice but had to return. Family is hoping she will get to go back to Jackie's house in a few days.

Just talked with Sherry Bickham class of 69. She told me that she has cirrhosis of the Liver.She has a twin sister Jerry that died this past year .She also has brother Jimmy class of 65

Christy Gibbs class of 76 in under the weather but hopes to be at 69 Reunion.

Joel Wrotan (66) is going thru some tests in Houston right now.He has told me that it might be cancer but until all tests are back he doesn't know the outcome.
