Received word a GREENIE will be leaving the states in June. He and his family will be moving to South America. Do you know it is ? Well here are a couple of hints. 1.He graduated in 1970. 2. You are right. He is going down there and start a High School and guess what the name will be ? South Park High School. His wife has already been given a Contract to work with a Doctor. They will leave in July. Will get all the details from Bubba and post them on web site.

Talked with Bubba on Friday and got some information from him. The name of the town is San Pedro Town, Ambergris Caye, Belize, Central America. He told me that the islanders sell Ambergris to France for an ingredient for making perfume. The whales eat squid and after they have eaten so many squid they vomit the ambergris up and it floats to shore. They gather it up and send it to France. For more infor contract Bubba.

He also told me that once they are down there they will have a web site and will tell how the high school got its name. We will be able to contact him after June in San Pedro Town.

There is an article in Beaumont Enterprise about Bubba and his wife building a high school in Belize. Our alma mater will once again shine. Miriam

Hello to all Greenies!

Just wanted to let all concerned know that we are adjusting to life in Belize. We have 7 students registered at South Park High School so far. We will have a push for registration just before we start the school year (Sept. 5). I hope to get with a webmaster soon to design a website to keep everyone updated.
