I only knew Pastor Lloyd for a short time and visited his church in Pt. Neches. He was very anointed with the spirit of God. He will surely be missed. Talked of South Park often.

Ann Hentschel wife of Coach Hentschel passed away on Thursday.She also taught Choir at Mac Arthur back in the 60's.They have one daughter and granddaughter.Services will be at St.John Lutheran Church on Major.

I had Mrs. Hentschel at MacArthur. She was always one of my favorite teachers. I saw her at Ronnie Boyett's funeral service. She still looks the same, just a bit older.

1945 S.P.H.S. graduate O.A. Williams died thursday March 26,2009. His wife, Ruby Joyce Colvin Williams is a 1950 SPHS graduate. He died at his home in Arkansas.

Dale Curl passed away yesterday in Tomball.Class of 66 his sister is Sharon Curl class of 68.Services will be in Beaumont.Will let all know.

Dale Curl's funeral service will be held this Saturday, April 25,
at Forrest Lawn Funeral Home, 4955 Pine in Beaumont. Visitation is scheduled from 12:00 to 2 then Memorial Service at 2 with cremation following

Dale was a friend to all he met. He will be missed by all that knew him.

I would like to say thanks to all former classmates that attended Dale's funeral on Saturday in Beaumont. I was very pleased that his wife, Patty, allowed him to be brought back to Beaumont to be buried. It was also great to see so many of our long-time friends and acquaintances from those good 'ol days at SPHS. Thanks immensely!!!
