Just a thought, maybe you could add a folder for Greenies who have died in Iraq? I thought of this because a friend of mine in the Seattle area built a memorial to all Iraq war dead up there and she has a web site devoted to the memorial (www.walkofthefallen.com). In the forum area of her site, she regularly post list of those who've been killed in Iraq. She calls it the TAPS folder. Perhaps something similar for our fallen Greenies would be nice?

That would be nice to honor GREENIES that have lost their lifes in Iraq. Maybe you can find out if we have any GREENIES that have lost their lifes in Iraq. Need to think of a title for it.

I'd check with the VA office for the Bmt area or call the local VFW hall there. I'd do it for you but, I'm living in TN now. I'm working on a project for local Iraq dead from here, we called the VA and they provided us with a list. Once you have a list of those who've died locally, it should be too hard to compare it to student rosters from SP if you have them available. Also, you could call the Beaumont Enterprise as well as the local news stations and ask them run a news item requesting families of former students to contact you with the information.

On a side note, if you are able to get the school building a property saved, you might look into a memorial on the site for same purpose.

I'm sorry I'm so far away and not of much help.

Oh, a second thought. The DOD might actually provide the information if it's requested. Surely they have such information on file? Below is a link to their web site.
