I saw some younger(70 and 71) Geenies last night at 9th Grade(WestBrook)football game last night and they ask me if we were getting the Boogie Kings for our reunion and I told them yes.And they asked if they could come.Told them when we have meeting in January to discuss our reunion plans we would talk about that and I would make sure to let all know the out come.They understand they would have to pay cover charge to come .

I have about 40 names from our class that I don't have good addresses. If you will help find these classmates let me know.

Hey Miriam...I hung around (some) with Coy and wondered where he was...since Austin to Beaumont is a long drive for me, I will most likely not make it...but give Coy my Best. Hope he can make it to the reunion. Charlotte

Robert came by last night and picked up checks that I had gotten.He said we are very close to having the Boogie Kings paid for.Found classmates this past weekend that have not made reunion or it has been years.All keep in touch.Remember meeting in January 17 to discuss reunion.

I talked with several classmates on Sunday (11/9/08) that we did not have their correct addresses and they told me that they had not gotten any correspondence on our earlier reunions.They will try to attend reunion in 2009

Even got address from classmates that did not graduate with us but are excited about reunion.

Next Reunion meeting is April 18 at 6:00 PM at the home of Sondra Christopher Mayfield, 975 Monterrey,Beaumont, 409-866-2443 for directions. This meeting we stuffed letters into envelopes, talked about Friday Night, looked at reunion pictures to name classmates we did not remember.Received more cover charges from our class but others, too.
